Debbie Partin, REI Business Lending Director, has been selected as one of The Journal Record’s “50 Making a Difference” for 2013. The Journal Record Woman of the Year program recognizes Oklahoma’s leading women who epitomize leadership in both their professional endeavors and in the communities where they live. Partin, along with other honorees, will be recognized and the Woman of the Year will be announced at an event on October 3rd in Oklahoma City.
Partin has been assisting Oklahoma entrepreneurs with their business lending needs since joining REI Oklahoma in 1992. She is responsible for providing access to needed capital that allows Oklahoma businesses and communities to prosper, through a variety lending programs.
Partin is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional and was awarded SBA’s Financial Services Advocate of the Year award. She is also Executive Vice President of REI New Markets Investment, LLC and is currently serving her third term as Vice Chair of Legislative Affairs on the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) Board of Directors. Additionally, she serves as Vice President of the Oklahoma Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders.
The daughter of Ron and Janis Jones of Durant, Partin and her husband, Chuck, are residents of Hugo, and together they have four children and one grandchild.
