The Goddard School has broken ground to launch this early childhood development franchise in Jenks, OK. The economic development partnership of Union Bank, Tulsa, and Rural Enterprises of Oklahoma, Inc. (REI) was instrumental in getting construction underway. The SBA 504 lending program was utilized for real estate, construction, machinery and equipment.
Business owners are Jennifer and Guy Arthur Richey with Jennifer serving as on-site director. The Richey’s are constructing an 8,000 sq. ft. facility designed to accommodate approximately 140 children from six weeks to six years old. The new School is projected to open this summer and will offer flexible schedules for children Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Goddard School’s philosophy is to celebrate the individual potential of each child at their own pace supported by a team of trained teachers. It’s where fun comes first because it is the foundation for learning.
The School’s FLEX Learning Program is based on a learning continuum encompassing guidelines, assessments and child-focused lesson plans delivered in a creative and fun environment. It is also a safe and secure environment and overseen by a team of Goddard Quality Assurance Representatives.
Infants and will enjoy a warmth and security while their learning and communication skills are developed and pre-school children will be prepared for school through enrichment programs and fun. Before and after school students can receive help with homework and research projects while summer students will have an experience way beyond the normal summer camp activities.
“This was an awesome project to work on in partnership with Janet Gotwals, President of Union Bank branch in Tulsa. It’s this kind of partnership that makes things happen,” said Sam Vaverka, REI loan specialist. “Jennifer and Guy are also to be congratulated for their vision to help meet early childhood development needs for our families.”
Vaverka encourages parents to check out the web site at www.goddardschool.com for information about all of the programs and services available or call 1-800-GODDARD.
